Lucy Bryant
Hi! My name is Lucy Bryant, and I am originally from Louisiana, where I attended Natchitoches Central High School. After that, I attended Northwestern State University, where I graduated with my Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2006. I also have my ESL and Master Reading Teacher certifications.
I attend Reading and Writing workshops constantly throughout the school year, and during the summer. I have also attended the Reading First Academy Conference in Galveston, TX.
This will be my 2nd year teaching 2nd Grade at Crestview Elementary. Previously, I taught 3rd Grade Reading Language Arts for 3 years here.
This will be my 15th year teaching. I taught first grade for 7 years, 3rd Grade ELAR for 6 years, and now this is my 2nd year teaching 2nd Grade. I have taught at Kopperl ISD (Bosque County), Harmony Science Academy (Waco, TX), and Olney ISD.
I have been married to my husband, Mr. Bryant for 14 years now. We have two children—Aubrey (10 years old), and Alexa (6 years old).
One of my favorite hobbies is reading. I love to get lost in a really great book. I also enjoy swimming and spending time with my family. :)
